Pipe fitter

Emtes is looking for a first pipe fitter. Are you the person for the position?

In your role, you will be responsible for identifying materials and setting and bonding welds. Your tasks include interpreting and measuring isometric drawings, as well as cutting and grinding pipe sections. You will collaborate with riggers to position parts accurately. Additionally, you will communicate quality information to the foreman and create necessary support structures. Your responsibilities also encompass preparing and executing test activities, including pressure measurements.

• You are in possession of at least a valid VCA-Basic Certificate.
• You are able to read and measure isometric drawings.
• You are in possession of the WFPR certificate.
• You have two to four years of work experience as an assistant pipefitter.
• You are in possession of a drivers license (B) and own transport.
• You have followed a VMBO/LTS training in the direction of metal.
• Preferably in possession of the certificate Safe Moving of Loads (VVL).
• You have a flexible, enthusiastic and motivated attitude.
• Preferably, you have an H2S certificate.
